Baseball season is almost here, and I for one, cannot wait!  Also just around the corner is Reckless Kelly's annual Celebrity Softball Jam. Mark your calendar because it's a little early this year, Sunday, April 14 at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock. This year's concert features Micky and the Motorcars, Bruce Robison & Kelly Willis, Charlie Robison, Hayes Carll, Roger Creager and more. As always, the proceeds go to the Reckless Kelly Charitable Youth Foundation, which has raised over $100, 000 over the past four years.

If you haven't yet heard of Shovels and Rope, you better get to educating yourself because they are amazing. A few weeks back they pefrormed this song on the Late Show With David Letterman, now here is the official music video for "Birmingham".

*Note, Shovels and Rope is not actually a band of 11 year olds, but it makes for an adorable video. However, the real band members Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent do make cameos in the video.

Love this song, it's the title track on Bart Crow's latest album. He's been off the road for a while recovering from back surgery, but if this video is any indication Bart is back and ready to rock.
