It's official, Barbie's long time boyfriend is an Aggie, and not just any Aggie, but a Yell Leader at that. That's right everybody, in this year's University Collection, which usually features Barbie cheering on the home team, Mattel kept with A&M tradition and put Ken in the spotlight. Now, they may have missed the mark in the description, because I don't believe you'll find Yell Leaders "ready to basket toss or build a pyramid", but I do think any future little Aggie will want this guy hanging out with her Barbies as she walks them under the Century Tree sapling you may have planted in the back yard.

Last night was the Miss USA pageant. Whatever your opinion of pageants, these girls have a lot of guts to put them selves in front of America for our entertainment. Especially when something like this happens and it get's replayed over and over and over on the internet (like the second video below, still doesn't get old). I've had a few times where I've been talking and completely forgotten what I'm actually talking about, so I understand what's going on in Miss Utah's mind when that happens. At the end of the day, she is now an internet celebrity and was one of the top six contestants in the pageant. If you missed the pageant, behold, Miss Utah's answer to the question concerning the wage disparity between men and women.

And of course, remember back in 2007 with Miss Teen South Carolina...

The Bowen Classic was a huge success, I mean huge! Almost the entire Aggie 96 family was in attendance, Zack & Jim, Jennifer and me. The concert was a blast, who would have thought Neal McCoy would cover "Suit & Tie", but he did and it was awesome (someone standing near my said that Neal McCoy is the "original Luke Bryan"-ha!). Anyway the reason for all of the fun was to raise money, and the event did just that.
