I introduced you to the Cadillac Black a few months ago, they've rocked College Station numerous times and they are set to melt faces at Chilifest in April. But now, I introduce you to the Cadillace Three. They explain the name change in the video below (it's mostly because the chicks will dig it):
And a big congratulations to the TCB The Cadillac Three (going to take a few weeks to get used to the name change, hopefully I don't screw up the Chilifest intro), they were just signed to Big Machine Records. You can bet they got their buzz on celebrating that news.

Big Machine Label Group Signs The Cadillac Three
Country group with a rockin' edge finds a home with Big Machine Records
NASHVILLE, TN (February 19, 2013)—The Big Machine Label Group announced today the signing of The Cadillac Three to its Big Machine Records imprint. The Country group with a rockin' edge will join the label, which is home to superstars Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts and Tim McGraw.
The Cadillac Three, formerly known as The Cadillac Black, is a high-energy trio who describes their sound as “country fuzz.” Composed of three Nashville natives – Jaren Johnston (Guitar & Lead Vocals), Kelby Ray (Bass Steel Guitar, Dobro, Acoustic & Vocals) and Neil Mason (Drums, Percussion & Vocals) – all three guys weathered wild adventures and wrote numerous songs along the way.
Collectively, their experience as musicians stretches from having written hit songs to opening shows for acts like ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eric Church and Eli Young Band. Johnston is known for penning Keith Urban’s #1 smash “You Gonna Fly,” two new cuts on Tim McGraw’s latest record TWO LANES OF FREEDOM and several other tunes for acts like Kenny Chesney, Sara Evans and Dierks Bentley.
"We're excited to be a part of the Big Machine Label Group and to have found a team that supports the music we've been making and playing across the country. We think it is a match made in 'country fuzz heaven' for three guys born and raised in Music City,” said The Cadillac Three.
“We are thrilled that The Cadillac Three will now call Big Machine their home,” said BMLG President/CEO Scott Borchetta. “Their songs are infectious. Their live show is captivating. We expect many great things to come for these guys.”
The band appeared on an episode of ABC’s hit drama “NASHVILLE” in late 2012 and their music has been featured on MTV's Buckwild, CW's Vampire Diaries and Heart Of Dixie, CBS' CSI Miami.
The Cadillac Three is expected to release new music later this year. Country radio will get a sneak peek next Thursday (2/28) when the band opens for Eli Young Band at Nashville hotspot, The Stage.
