Jennifer Allen was born and raised on a cattle farm in Kentucky, just up the road from Nashville. She is a lifelong country music fan! For her 8th birthday she was treated to a night backstage at the Grand Ol' Opry with the likes of Minnie Pearl and Grandpa Jones.
Jennifer moved to Texas to attend Abilene Christian University, then started in radio and eventually made her way to the Brazos Valley in 2003.
Jennifer is mom to Lane born in 2000 and Dalton born May 2006 and loves spending time with her boys and husband Lenny.

Reba Back On The Small Screen
I still think Reba is super funny so I was excited to see that sheis officially headed back to the small screen. Her new sitcom,Malibu Country, has been picked up by ABC to air later this year.
Reba stars as a Nashville mom who is abandoned by her musician husband. He takes most of their money, which forces her to relocate to Malibu in an attempt to revive her career as a singer. Lily Tomlin will play the mother of Reba's character. Can’t we find a spot for Dolly on this show too?

Kristen Makes History
Texas gal and former Chilifest performer Kristen Kelly enters the Billboard Country Singles chart this week with her debut solo single, "Ex-Old Man." The song has made Country Aircheck history by being the first time a new female artist's debut single tops the most added list. Kristen's "Ex-Old Man" received 32 total adds this week on the Billboard and Country Aircheckcharts.
She'll perform the song live for fans at the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday (May 5th) as she makes her debut on the hallowed stage.
